Base Ingredients

Jojoba Oil - Simmondsia chinensis

Cold-pressed from the American jojoba plant, jojoba oil is rich in minerals and vitamins C, E and A. Golden in colour with a light scent, jojoba oil is a firm favourite in Beard Bear oils and acts as a great natural skin moisturiser. 

Almond Oil - Prunis Amygdalus

Almond oil is cold-pressed from sweet almond kernels. Packed with goodness, sweet almond oil is full of powerful proteins and vitamin D.

Great for softening and conditioning the beard and  skin,

Avocado Oil - persea americana

Avocado oil is packed with vitamins, antioxidants, amino acids and protein. These work wonders for your beard. Avocado balances pH, hydrates and relieves dry, flaky and itchy skin. Great to soften and nourish your beard.

White Beeswax - Cera Alba (Balms only)

Argan Oil - Argania spinosa

Argan oil has been used on the skin and hair for hundreds of years, largely due to its high content of vitamin E.

Cold-pressed from the seeds of the Moroccan argan tree,  argan oil has a silky quality and will soften your beard add shine and moisturise the skin.

 

Organic Shea Butter - Butyrospermum parki
(Balms only)

Beeswax is a great ingredient  in skincare due to its natural benefits.

Beeswax forms a protective barrier on the skin's surface, protecting your skin and is non-comedogenic (non-pore blocking), allowing the skin to breathe freely. This makes beeswax particularly beneficial for sensitive skin.

Organic Shea butter is arguably the most important ingredient in all nourishing, indulgent skin care products. Shea butter is known for its healing properties and intense moisturisation.

Essential Oils

Tea Tree Oil -Melaleuca Alternifolia

Steam distilled from the leaves of the tea tree. Its unique aroma combines mint, spicy notes and a medicinal quality that makes it popular as a natural remedy. 

Cedarwood Oil - Cedarus Atlantica

Cinnamon Leaf Oil - Cinnamomum Zeylancium

Cinnamon oil is produced by steaming the leaves of trees from the Cinnamomum family. The mixture of sweet and spicy fragrance from cinnamon makes it a great addition to an oil or balm.

Sandalwood Oil - Amyris Balsmifera

There are so many benefits to Cedarwood Oil amongst other things it is known to cleanse, moisturise and reduce itchiness and of course let's not forget that wonderful woody scent.

Sandal Wood has a sweet woody vanilla scent and is known to have antibacterial qualities. Another firm favourite in beard oils and balms.

Ylang Ylang Oil - Cananga Odorata

Lime Oil - Citrus Aurantifolia

Ylang ylang essential oil has a floral fragrance with musky undertones. Steam distilled from the yellow flowers of the Cananga tree, this oil is also associated with a number of physical and mental benefits. A personal favourite of ours.

Pine Needle Oil - Pinus sylvestris

Stimulating, refreshing and just all round fine scent, blends well with other woody scents and adds a really fresh note of the highlands!

Lime Essential Oil is a sweet and aromatic essence distilled from peel or rind. Apart from the obvious, 
the 
fantastic fragrance, lime essential oil is a natural antioxidant and gives you that fresh zesty feeling.

Peppermint Oil - Mentha piperita

A great kick-starter for the morning, peppermint essential oil is carefully steam distilled from the mentha piperita herb. We love this when mixed with pine needle oil and tea tree.
